Bates Battaglia has re-upped with the Leafs, signing a 2-year deal at 650k per season. Bates will likely play on the 4th line with The Pope and Chad Kilger.
Battaglia scored 12 goals last season while adding 19 assists. Not impressive numbers, however many of his goals were very timely, great individual efforts, or both.
Not a huge move for the Leafs, but a move that brings back some of Battaglia's much-appreciated energy.
